Bailey Immel presents poster at Cognitive Development Society conference
Bailey presented a poster titled "Children's use of rituals in thinking about group membership" at the biennial meeting of the Cognitive Development Society (CDS).
This research is done in collaboration with Dr. Zoe Liberman.
"These studies examined whether children use similarity and rituals to think about if people are affiliated. We find that children do use similarity and rituals to think about affiliation and that they do so differently for objects compared to food."
