Nico Cristallos presents undergraduate research
Nico presented research on the development of empathy at the URCA poster session!
Nico presented his research on children's understanding of empathy at the URCA conference for undergraduate research. Nico also presented his work as a talk last week at the Undergraduate Research Slam. In his project, Nico found that children develop an understanding of empathy around age 5. This understanding includes affective reasoning (knowing that someone who is excluded will feel sad), cognitive reasoning (knowing why they will be sad), and behavioral changes (saying they would talk to or help someone who was sitting alone). Congrats Nico!
