Maya Longtin presents undergraduate research
Maya presented work on children's understanding of contamination at the URCA poster session!
May 15, 2018
Senior research assistant Maya Longtin presented a poster of her work at the URCA conference at UCSB. For her study, Maya showed children two foods: one that was contaminated, and one that was clean. Although children understood that the contaminated food was "germier," they only chose to eat clean foods when the clean foods were presented by a native (rather than foreign) speaker. Congrats, Maya!
